Our POC, James, was 100% no-pressure sell, gave us tons of information and customized plan with the type of panels, type of inverters and number of panels that was best value for our location and roof orientation. More importantly, we worked with him through the entire process from quoting and info, through installation and even now with post-install support and help making sure we're doing the tax stuff right. If you're thinking about solar you need to talk to James!

She was incredibly consultative and empathetic with our situation. She was responsive and helpful throughout the entire Process. As a homeowner, you meet with a lot of companies and people that work in a similar role to Heather. Heather provided the best experience I’ve ever had and I would recommend her with out hesitation. I am happy to report Boss Energy reached out to me within hours of my post. In just one week my roof has been repaired and the company and I are working on a plan to finalize the interior drywall and paint. *****July 17 original review ****** Boss Energy was the General Contractor for the installation of my Solar panels. For the 2nd time, since solar panel installation, the panels are causing a leaky roof (btw @ the time of my Solar installation, my home was 12 months old). The first leak took 2 months to get repaired. For the current leak, I cannot get anyone to even return any of my calls. The only feedback I have received from the company is an apology for the no response and..... "unfortunately the company is slammed with servicing NEW Customers". If I could do it all over again, I would have made a different decision. Regarding the Solar System, the system works fine; however, when you factor in the poor workmanship of the roof installation and poor responsiveness; the system's overall value goes to zero.
Adam Schaaf2023-02-01I have recently completed a large solar installation with Boss Energy. I would highly recommend them for any solar projects. James did a great job explaining each step of the process on the design and installation side. Dustin was extremely courteous and double checked with me before running wires, drilling holes etc. during installation. Would definitely use them again!

Ivan Lewis2023-01-17Boss Energy installed a complex solar system at our equestrian center ( 4 distinct yet integrated systems supplying 4 facilities from a single location). As an engineer with 40 years of experience I had a vision of what I wanted to achieve and needed a professional company that could implement that vision and be additive in the process. We wanted to achieve some energy independence to ensure we always had power, water and other necessities for our livestock. After speaking with 5 different companies (in 3 states), I selected Boss Energy for the project. Boss Energy and their entire team were a pleasure to work with. Having worked with numerous contractors over years of being in business, I can honestly say this was one of if not the the smoothest project I've been involved with. They are technically knowledgeable, understand the market, the products, and all the associated intricacies. Our final product included 120 - 400V panels in a central location with 40 panels and 2 powerwalls supplying one facility, 24 panels and 2 powerwalls supplying a second facility, 50 panels and 4 powerwalls supplying a third and 5 panels powering some pumps. The installation was highly professional as aesthetics were very important You'd never know by sight that there was a large solar system powering the farm as you can't see the panels or infrastructure. The system is performing very well and we are excited to watch the saving while enjoying some energy independence.

Although there was much of the process Boss (the installer) couldn’t control, they worked with us to ensure the process was as smooth as possible. In fact, on the initial day of wiring, one employee stayed until 9pm waiting for the county inspector so he could turn our power back on for my medical devices. I couldn’t have asked for more. If you’re looking to go solar, trust the team at Boss.

Their prices are fair, their work is outstanding, and they were always available to help anytime I've needed to contact them. James in particular was always helpful and quick to respond to any questions or concerns my customers or I had.
